Biking in Thailand

Wow, I've been busy! Sorry for not getting back to all my readers in such a long time.

I'm so far behind in catching you up on all the goss (Summer in Canada, London and Switzerland, folks bought a cottage at the Big Rideau, Dad's looking for a new job, usual stuff ...). I'm just going to have skip what's happened and start fresh.

So here we all are just north of Chiang Mai, Thailand. Mom and Dad decided it would be a good idea to drag me around northern Thailand for 2 days in a bike trailer.

I wasn't so happy when it first started, but as if I had any choice, it was, "like it or lump it Jackson", so I decided to like it.

Pretty cool trip really, we did almost 60km each day and stayed in a very quiet, off-the-beaten-track place on the night in between. We were the only one's there, mom and dad each got a massage and had to take turns entertaining me. Dad drew the short straw, he got his massage first and was nice and relaxed. Mom got me all fired up for some serious play time, so dad had to take me for a swim. I was jumping off the edge into the pool! .... sort of.

Don't worry Nana(s) we were in good hands with our guide Chip! No close calls with the traffic, just a few bumpy spots!

'Til next time (hopefully less than 5 1/2 months from now) this is ...

Jackson out.
