First Trimester Visit

Well now that I'm old enough to write (hey I'm a smart kid!), here goes ...

That's me up there! I may look peaceful, but let me tell you about my day!

Dad snuck out of school at 2:15 (shhhhh) and met Mom by the elevator. Cautiously they looked over their shoulders, since limited Singapore friends know anything about me, the plan is to spill it to them all on Friday night for drinks (Apparently Mom's idea, but I think Dad is rubbing in the fact that he has a driver for 9 months!) I don't know what the big deal is, I'm just a little kiwi, ha, in size and nationality. Well half a Kiwi. Anyway, I’m trying to swim peacefully in my private spa. But, Dr. Hagarty starts poking me again, I have vague memories of this happening a few weeks ago, but I didn't have much of a brain then. Mom’s nervous and sending shots of adrenalin to me so I’m flipping and flopping. I try and wave, but the folks are just ooooing and ahhhing over me and I can’t get the message across … they are so sappy.

Mom still spins me around like a washing machine. She’s coughing and sputtering all the time. I guess she’s not used to me … yet. She ain’t seen nothing yet. Once my legs catch up to my head (which is still frickin’ huge) she won’t be able to keep up!

Doc says I’m healthy and all my body parts seem to be showing up, ears, nose, eyes and I’m swallowing, but Mom’s not feeding me much. Hopefully that will change soon. Doesn’t she know I’m growing like a centimeter a week!!!

Well, that’s all for now. I need to go practice my back flips. That ought to make Mom sick … hehe.
